The TOJO grading shovel has a grid bottom. This grid is hinged at its front end, and at the rear it is suspended from an excentric shaft. Half of the grid is raised when the other half is lowered, and vice versa. This eliminates vibrations. The excentric shaft is powered by a hydraulic motor, attached to the hydraulic system of the loader/digger. The displacement is transferred from the excenter to the grid by means of patented spring links. The TOJO grading shovel is very rugged and maintenance is simple. The standard rear fitting is the large Volvo equipment attachment. The front edge consists of a 30 mm base plate, onto which are bolted four 25 mm reversible wear plates. The grid is made of wear resistant steel. The grid irons taper so as to make the slot between the irons wider at the bottom than at the top, to avoid having material get stuck between the irons. The standard grid spacing values are 20, 30, 40, 50 and 80 mm. |
