SORTING BUCKET
The TOJO grading shovel is used in connection with laying pipes for water and sewage, and when building and reconditioning roads and streets. After grading, most of the material can be re-used, and the transports to the dump and from the gravel pit will be minimized. The shovel can also be used for sorting soil, rubbish, ashes and slag.
The aggregates are deposited on the road by a digger. A grader levels the surface and leaves a ridged of material. The TOJO grading shovel then sorts the material, and finally the road is graded. The road surface will consist of the 0-50 mm fraction. Little or no extra gravel is needed.
Road material which has been gradually pushed aside into the road ditch is scraped up onto the road. This old aggregate is sorted by the TOJO grading shovel, and the road is then graded again. Useable gravel fractions have been restored to the road surface, which becomes stronger and drains better, at a low cost.
